I want to share with you a few pictures of a short trip this afternoon of Chet and me to the continental center of the United States, a city called Lebanon (Kansas) which is located barely two miles to the south-east of that point. It is a dying town, destroyed by time, seemingly without anybody showing interest to restore it to it’s original beauty. What makes it eery and more awkward is the fact that what used to be the business-district, had seemingly turned into a ghost-town with few buildings looking indeed as if a bomb had slammed into them.

In comparison to that there is a jewel called “Red Cloud”, Nebraska. It’s old buildings are restored, kept in good shape and still in use today!

… and Chet and me!
